Dreaming And The Future

In a lifetime of paying attention to my dreams, I’ve often had the feeling that, somehow, dreaming speaks to us from somewhere outside time and space; perhaps even having a hand in forming future events. This 2003 dream, captured by marker in sketchbook, shows what I mean.

Tattoo On Top!

Meet Jim Peterson, who liked my cover to RARE BIT FIENDS #4 so much he had it tattooed on his head. The face-in-the-butterfly illustration was also used as the cover to my recently published SHINY BEASTS. Just click on the blinky covers over there on the right for a comparison.

In All His Splendor

On my drawing board right now is a six pager by Harvey Pekar for SMITH MAGAZINE. It’s for a series they are doing called “Next Door Neighbor” edited by Dean Haspiel with lots of writers and artists contributing. Not sure when mine and Harvey’s part is scheduled to run but I’m hearing the series starts Tuesday.
