Here’s a short strip I collaborated on with Jim Ottaviani for the EXPO 2000 anthology. Jim, famous for his self published science comics, asked me to illustrate this three pager documenting how in 1865 Friedrich Von Kekule discovered the elusive structure of the benzene molecule in a dream. It’s a famous example of how dreams can offer insights into the invisible world around us. The originals to this story have since been lost so I think its safe to assume this will never be collected. ©Jim Ottaviani and Rick Veitch
