If you’ve been following the news out of San Diego Comic-Con, you’re probably up to speed on Marvel’s announcement that they have purchased the rights to Marvelman from Mick Anglo. In a case of perfect timing if there was one, the latest issue of Roy Thomas’ ALTER EGO has a terrific interview with Mick, delving into the history of the cartoonist and his most famous creation. I don’t have a link for a place to buy it on-line, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find.
Yes, that’s a Marvelman cover by me; originally done as a fan commission. And yes, I’m still taking commissions. If interested just get in touch.
Check out some other commissions here.
