Alan's had it with DC but he's given me carte blanche to do anything I want with GREYSHIRT. If Wildstorm ever expresses interest I could see doing another mini-series.

I love the 80's Sentry you posted. it looks so recognizable.
like being at salvation army and spotting an action figure you recognize but can't place what it is.
the sentry you describe sounds allot more interesting than the one that that currently appears in avengers.
I am especially intrigued by the idea of a former superman with an addiction and a close relationship to his dog. I think those elements were only briefly employed in the first sentry mini series.

by the way I am recently re reading Greyshirt :indigo sunset.
I love how well you create the world of Indigo city, with the newspaper section at the back of the book, it really gives you a sense of a unique specific kind of own, I picture it as a sort of Pittsburgh or other great lakes bound rust belt city in decline.
I see Top 10 still somehow exists as a comic.
any chance we'll ever see more of the Greyshirt?

I really enjoyed this series of post on The Sentry. I completely ignored all of this back-story. I have to be honest, I really enjoyed the first series (a little bit less the second) but I would have loved to see the original concept developed by the two of you.
So bad it never happened.
Thanks for sharing this story with the rest of us.

Thanks for the Tales of the Sentry. Never knew any of this backstory, of course I also have to admit that I barely know the character. Sounds like something that would fit right into the Marvel Universe though. Your 70s version is my favorite. Great stuff, especially like the anagrams.
