I used to work at an animation studio and I remember one day at lunch my workmates were discussing where in the body the soul resides. Such a banal discussion was the limit of ‘philosophy’ allowed by the catholic church in the middle ages ( discuss anything that might actually affect real change in the world was a good way to get you dead ). I was being a smart arse when I said ,” It’s behind the eyes, because the eyes are the window of the soul “, but they took me literally and considered it. Anyway, that’s the only time I’ve discussed ‘the soul’- when I paid my bills as an animator, and now here you are, animating your soul!
