I think there’s something more sinister going on here than simply a hunt for food. Because of the soft focus background, I almost feel like I’m seeing frames from an animated cartoon. That lost Veitch animated classic…that scared ( and scarred ) the children.

Part of the exercise was working in layers and blurring them to simulate depth. It looks better on-screen than when printed out.

I guess that wouldn’t bother the ‘youngsters’ – they’re probably fine with only seeing their stuff on a computer. Probably more and more we’ll be seeing art programs that are only intended to appear on computers.
