If you live in Europe, today  you can pick up the German edition of WIRED with 7 pages of comics by me. It’s about the rise and fall of Kim Schmitz aka Kim Dotcom; the founder of the Mega-Upload site who was busted big time in New Zealand a few months ago.  This is the frontspiece to the magazine before they added the copy.

The pencil version of a recent commission.  The request was only “Miracleman crying”.  I’ll run the inks tomorrow.

This skull-tastic  T-Shirt is a fundraiser for Gary Friedrich,  the original creator of Ghost Rider.  He’s battling Marvel over what he believes are his rights and in trouble financially (full story here).  Aided and inspired by Ben and Tracy over at World of Strange, myself, Billy Tackett, Stephen Bissette, Bob Burden, Nathan Thomas Milliner, Sam Flega and Denis St. John have collaborated on this exclusive skull themed T-shirt as a fundraiser to help Gary out.  The guy wearing the crown and smoking a cigar is mine.  World of Strange has them for a limited time only at a very affordable $11.99. All profits go to Gary. All glory goes to those who proudly wear the shirt!

In what appears to be a grassroots movement to bring ABRAXAS AND THE EARTHMAN to the attention of the world, ordinary citizens everywhere are dressing up in John Lilly costumes.  Thanks to Curt Callaway.

Here is the final inked and lettered version of the previous commission pencils.  The bit is from a short story by Ivan Bunin, published in 1925 and usually translated as “The Elagin Affair”.

Window for commissions is closing again.  Deadline job just landed which will require all my focus for the next few weeks.

I’m not sure which 19th century novel this sequence is taken from.  But I’m pretty sure it is to be used in some sort of literature class.  Hopefully I’ll know the particulars by the time I post the inked and lettered version.
