Own Swamp Thing And Metron

This page of original art is from SWAMP THING #62, which was the first issue I both wrote and drew. It features SWAMP THING, who with the aid of a Mother Box has formed himself into an organic version of METRON’s Mobius Chair. Together they are attempting to pierce the final barrier into the SOURCE. Inks by Alfredo Alcala and lettering, on the board, by John Costanza.

This piece is on the oversized 13.5″ x 20″ boards that DC used briefly in the 80′s. It’s in perfect condition. I’d like to get $200 for it. If interested, give me a shout.

And check out my on-line gallery. There are covers, complete stories and nice pages of art to look at; some sold, some still available.

UPDATE: We have a buyer.

We Interupt This Dream For A Word About Nazi Cockroaches

Of all the Alan Moore written GREYSHIRT stories, the one people ask me about the most is “VERMIN” from Tomorrow Stories #11. In it, Hitler, Goebbels, Himmler and the Nazi army are reincarnated as cockroaches living under the sink of an Indigo City apartment and intent on conquering the nearby peddle-bin. You can actually own page 5 from “VERMIN”, written by Alan Moore, art by Rick Veitch and lettering on the board by Todd Klein. It’s on an 11 x 17″ Wildstorm board and in perfect condition. I’d like to get $250 for it.

Note: I’ve got a few other pages from “VERMIN”, including the splash page. If you are interested, shoot me an e-mail.

Other original art I’ve put up for sale on this site, some taken and some still available, is always on view in the gallery.

Own The Moment Of Conception!

I don’t think there has ever been another character origin in comics shown like this. It’s the last page of Swamp Thing 76 when Abby and Swamp Thing (who has taken over Constantine’s body) physically conceive the next Earth Elemental. Script and pencils by me. Inks by Alfredo Alcala and lettering by John Costanza. It’s executed on the extra large (13.5″ x 19.5″) boards DC used for a short time in the 1980′s and is in perfect condition. The next issue blurb at the bottom is pasted up. I’d like to get $275 for it.

If you’d like to make it yours give me a shout.

A few of the other pages I’ve posted for sale are still available too.

Own Heaven And Hell DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD!

Here’s a nice double page spread from SWAMP THING 76 I’m offering up for sale. Script and penciling by me, inks by Alfredo Alcala and lettering (on the boards) by John Costanza. It features THE DEMON and PHANTOM STRANGER observing the moment of conception when the SPROUT enters ABBY’s womb. Then the action moves to Heaven’s North Slope where GOOD and EVIL hold each other in eternal balance.

These pages were done on the extra large size art paper that DC used for a while in the 1980′s, so the whole spread, on two separate boards, measures a whopping 24″ x 19″. Below are closeups each of each board.

Both pages are in very good condition with the usual amount of editorial blue-lining and a few lettering corrections. I’d like to get $350 for them. If you are interested, just shoot me an email.

UPDATE: We have a buyer.

Check out the other originals I have for sale in the gallery.

Pencils by Rick Veitch, inks Alfredo Alcala and lettering, on the board, by John Costanza.

This page is in perfect condition. The hand of the GREEN LANTERN is statted in panels 2 and 3. Typical editorial blue lining. I’d like to get $300 for it. Shoot me an email if you are interested.

And check out my gallery of other pages (some of which has already sold).
