Kevin Nowlan has posted up scans of this book before too! I’d almost want to buy one for the comedy of it alone. Seems that the author took the subject so way beyond seriously that it reads more like parody than criticism.
So I’m assuming a big flowered zucchini is underneath that block. Wonderful placement by the editors to imply more than was actually there.

I read this during my evangelical fundamentalist days as it was rare for me to read actual comics back then. At that point in time I just felt sad that this guy had missed the joy and fantastic capabilities of the medium. It was the usual witch-hunt that goes so far in one very slanted direction, an misses the joy that God likes to see in his children, IMHO. SAD!
