The first appearance of TEKNOPHAGE, the proto-steampunk villain of Neil Gaiman’s Tekno Comix line circa 1995. Script by me with Bryan Talbot and Angus Mckie knocking it out of the park on the art. Lettering by John Workman. This stuff has never been collected.
Does anyone even know who has the rights to this stuff anymore? I am sure the name Neil Gaiman on the front would do wonders for sales of a collected edition in the bookstores.
and that’s a damn shame. Great storyline
It is a real shame that has never been collected… I really enjoyed that series.
Chased all the issues down 6-7 years ago…really pleased with your run with Talbot. Those books had some really lavish printing if I recall, too. They put a lot of $$ behind all those titles but the line never caught on…shame especially re: Teknophage.
I loved this run. I remember picking up the issues at comic markets in the UK for cheap and was really impressed by the story and art. For some reason I can’t seem to remember the ending and I think I lost these issues 🙁
First poster is right, stamp Mr.Gaimans name on it, maybe an intro or something as well and a collected tbd would do well.
@thekamisama, the rights belong to Hollywood Media Corp., a company based in Fla.
