Tumbling Tumbleweeds

Long time no blog!  Thanks for all the emails wondering if I was okay.  The short answer is yes, I’m better than ever.  I got out of the habit of daily blogging and need to get back into it to share some of the interesting stuff I’ve been doing.

For starts, here are the pencils to my cover for Miracleman #9 just solicited from Marvel.  More soon; I promise hope!

It is nice to see you are fine and doing well Rick! In the ’90s your comics (bratpack, maximortal) were a great source of clever fun and inspiring reflection! Thanks and keep up with the good work!

Cool! I recently brought the MM page I bought from you (like 15 years ago?!?) to Marvel so they can rescan it for the reprinted edition.
These new covers look great, Rick!
    Take care,

That’s a relief, as I was wondering what was going on. “Better than ever” is good to hear!

I have been a fan of yours for a long time after having my mind blown by Abraxas and the Earthman in Epic Illustrated. I am also a fan of Marvelman/Miracleman from the original Warrior comic of the early 80s, but I dropped off when those original magazines stopped.

I’ve been picking up the digital editions in order to fill in my knowledge of the character and was astounded by the recent issue which was drawn by your good self. It was like seeing an old friend again. Loved it and look forward to seeing more of your work on MM.
